Welcome Event
To celebrate the beginning of the 2015 Korea Grand Sale and Korea Visit Week, international airports across Korea are holding a welcome event for foreign tourists who visit Korea. Experience the enjoyment of visiting Korea on December 1 at one of Korea's five international airports.
<Incheon Airport>
- Date: Dec. 1, 2014 (Mon) 09:30~18:30
- Venue: A~F Entry Gate on the 1st floor of Incheon Airport (Tour Basis)
- Content: Paparazzi-style welcoming event, including presentation of a welcome message and a welcome kit by a member of Smile Ambassador, and a photo zone (Polaroid photo taking).
<Gimpo Airport>
- Date: Dec. 1, 2014 (Mon) 09:30~18:30
- Venue: International Entry Gate on the 1st floor of Gimhae Airport (Tour Basis)
- Content: Presentation of a welcome message and a welcome kit by interpretation assistants dressed in traditional Korean costume.
<Gimhae Airport>
- Date: Dec. 1, 2014 (Mon) 13:00~16:00
- Venue: Entry Gate on the 1st floor of Gimhae Airport
- Content: Red carpet reception, presentation of a souvenir gift and flowers, distribution of promotional materials, and operation of a photo zone (Polaroid photo taking).
<Cheongju Airport>
- Date: Dec. 1, 2014 (Mon) 17:00~20:00
- Venue: Entry Gate at Cheongju Airport
- Content: Red carpet reception and welcome by assistants dressed in traditional Korean costume and character, congratulatory performance and promotional booklets, souvenir giveaway, and installation of a balloon arch.
<Jeju Airport>
- Date: Dec. 1, 2014 (Mon) 09:30~18:30
- Venue: Entry Gate on the 1st floor of Jeju Airport
- Content: Campaign by assistants dressed in traditional Korean costume, souvenir giveaway (Jeju tangerines & Samdasu mineral water), banner installation, and distribution of promotional materials.
Lucky Box Event Held during Visit Korea Weeks
▪ Period: Dec. 1, 2014 (while stock last)
▪ Venue: The Korea Grand Sale 2015 Event Centers (Myeongdong and Dongdaemun)
▪ On Fridays and Saturdays, 50 free gifts will be presented (by lottery) to foreign visitors who purchase goods worth 500,000 won or more each day.
▪ Gifts: Gold keys and items that are popular among foreign tourists, such as red ginseng and cosmetics, or soft drink coupons

SBS Awards Festival (SAF)
- Hour/Date: 10:00 AM ~ 6:00 PM on December 20 ~ 31, 2014 (subject to change)
- Place: Hall C, COEX, Seoul
- This is a large-scale K-culture festival where the country’s first-rate entertainers and fans spend a fun time together. The prize-awarding ceremony for the following will be held in one place: SBS TV dramas, entertainment/current affairs/culture programs, radio programs, singers, entertainers, and actors. There are other ancillary programs such as contest for participating fans, meeting with stars, participation in programs, autograph session for fans, etc.
